Yesterday was Mother’s Day, so the restaurants were pretty crowded with families celebrating. The No 1 choice on TripAdvisor was overflowing. In the evening the Plaza Major was still a hive of activity, with little kids playing football, riding their bikes, roller skating etc whilst their parents sat drinking at pavement cafes. I had a glass of white and a chicken drumstick.
Monday morning, I got up late for a change, had a cup of tea and a banana in bed and then went down to the Plaza for breakfast. Then it was time to visit the second important Mudejar church, San Lorenzo. Closed, but nice from the outside:
