Broometime

Another lazy day in the tropics.  Yesterday we drove out to the port at sunset and had a glass of Prosecco at The Wharf. JL wanted to see the jetty. This is where cruise ships pull in and cattle trucks deposit live cargo for Indonesia and Malaysia:





Today I had another early morning walk along Cable Beach and observed two oystercatchers looking for something to eat:


Today is Saturday, when people come from miles around to the Court House Markets. It’s good to see them in operation again. There are now twice as many coffee stalls as there used to be, as well as lots of jewellery stalls and artists displaying their work.
