Courthouse Markets

On Saturdays, this is the big event in town. I decided to go on the bus, as I thought it would be impossible to park. My plan was to find a shady spot to watch the world go by: this proved to be the verandah of the courthouse itself. I saw this plaque. I know the man!

I had a good view of the proceedings from the verandah:

Soon I was joined by the entertainment setting up their stall, with numerous wires and speakers:

When he asked me if I could sing, it was time to get out of the way!

I spotted a huge boab, absolutely full of nuts:

On the way back to the bus stop, I passed this flourishing community garden. Costa would be pleased:

I picked a few beans which I will cook tonight. Why not? There are flowers planted amongst the vegetables to attract the bees:
