Exploring Carmona

Carmona itself is built on top of a hill in a superb defensive position. I am staying about half way up. Right on top is a castle and a Parador. I walked up there for a G and T at about 7.00 pm.

This must be their swimming pool on a lower level.

As I was enjoying my drink, a woman came by with her arm in a sling, looking rather upset. I asked if she needed any help. She told me she was with an American group, but was being sent home. She had slipped in the shower and broken her wrist. She was 90 years old! How terrible for her. Her group was doing a tour of Paradores and she was missing out on the last three. I took this as a warning to be ultra careful in showers.
